Uni Prince Sauer (the absolute love of my life, my guardian, my dæmon, my son) has 2 tumors in his colon. I am desperate for any and all help to get this taken care of.

I have had him his entire life and he has been with me through all my hardships and moves. I am dead serious when I say I would not have survived without him. He is 99% of my reason for living.

If you’ve ever been to my place, you’ve been demanded love and attention by him, especially if you’re allergic to cats. He is the biggest lovebug ever. He tucks me in by laying on top of me until I fall asleep. He watches shows while sitting on my lap (his favorite movie is The Lion King). He always has to be touching someone, so he frequently will just reach his paw out and place it on you. He falls asleep holding my hand all the time.

On to the money stuff…

We have a consultation on Thursday to get part (or all, if needed) of his colon removed (subtotal or total colectomy). That will be $6000. On top of that, we have had to pay a vet that ended up being horrible. So we had to start from scratch, basically, after waiting way too long for the previous vet to transfer his records (they finally sent them when I threatened to file a complaint with the Veterinary Board). So he has been through the stresses of having to go back and forth to appointments (he freaks out and gets carsick), and we’re racking up consultation and exam fees.

He is totally healthy besides these tumors and is eating and drinking normally and acts normally, until he has to have a bowel movement, which is extremely straining and painful for him and then, he goes and finds somewhere to hide for a while. That breaks my heart because he always wants to be the center of attention. After a while of hiding, he’ll come out and be totally normal again. We just need to get these masses out of him ASAP.
