Support a Student Building Solutions in Math, Engineering, and Innovation
My name is Ujjwal Shrestha, and I’m an international student and got accepted at Brigham Young University (BYU). I came to the U.S. with one suitcase, big dreams, and the hope that hard work could change my life. Back home in Nepal, education like this was out of reach. But somehow, I made it here.
I love science, engineering, and math because they give me the power to solve real problems. I want to use what I learn to build things that help people, not replace them. But now, I’m facing something I can’t fix on my own. I may have to leave BYU because I can’t afford to pay my tuition and basic living costs. As an international student, I don’t qualify for government aid or loans. I’ve applied for scholarships. I’m working. I’m trying everything. But it’s not enough.
I’m asking for help to stay in school, keep a roof over my head, and keep chasing the future I’ve worked so hard for. I know times are tough for everyone. But if my story speaks to you, even a small donation or just sharing this could be the reason I get to stay.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for believing in students like me.
