On 11/17/20 the Cravo’s world was totally flipped upside down. 8 year old Landon was very suddenly admitted to Rady Children’s Hospital with a mass in his chest. Landon had been diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and it had spread all over his body including his spinal fluid and bone marrow. Anne (Landon’s mom) is now staying at the hospital during Landon’s treatment, which can be for the next few weeks. Rob (Landon’s Dad) is at home taking care of their 11 year old Lilli (Landon’s sister) and trying to get their home ready for Landon.  This has already been quite the year for The Cravo’s, Rob was hospitalized back in July/August 2020 with GBS from a back injury. He is still working on recovering and still has a lot of pain so this has really been hard for him. Landon throughout this entire process has been so positive. Doctors and nurses comment about what a wonderful patient he is and when he is asked he says he is doing great with a smile on his face. His family truly draws their strength from Landon. As they navigate this truly challenging long journey,  the help, love and support from everyone is so much appreciated.  They expect treatment to last up to 3.5 years.
