Help Matt With Legal Fees

In April of 2019, Matt Carlson was faced with the reality of a divorce that separated him from his two children, whom unfortunately were relocated 3 hours away from him.

For nearly 3 years, Matt has been doing everything within his control to remain a consistent presence in his children’s lives in spite of numerous attempts to keep him from them. He has been drained financially as a result of this situation, currently “homeless” (though he has generous friends providing a place to live), unable to provide his own basic needs as all of his income has been poured into fighting for his rights as a father and to be able to be a dad to Anika and Easton, only 3 and 4 years old.

It has come to the point where Matt has exhausted all of his resources, the legal fees accumulating over the last 3 years have been enormous. With impending divorce hearing in May, he needs $37,000 to secure his excellent representation to keep moving forward…to simply be a dad. If he is unable to secure enough funds, he loses representation and has to fight for his children alone.

Matt is an amazing father who shows so much love and grace, and shares God goodness to his sweet children that is beautiful. He joyfully and generously helps anyone who ever needs it, serves in a variety of ministries, all in spite of the battle he is facing. He does this without expectation, and truly from the goodness of his heart and his love for God. His strong faith and optimism is a blessing to all who know him.

If God places a burden to support Matt on your heart, absolutely any amount would be most appreciated. Though we know that God is always, always working for our good and that He has this under His control…any amount contributed would alleviate a burden for Matt and help ensure that he doesn’t have to face this battle in court alone.
