Steve Salk Memorial Ujamaa Fund

Ujamaa is a Swahili word meaning “togetherness.” Steve Salk believed in the power of human beings to help one another on an individual, as well as organizational, level. The latter part of his life was spent living and working with his Tanzanian friends and family. Steve’s family will be traveling to Arusha to provide money and supplies in Steve’s memory. We are inviting contributions from our friends and family who may also want to honor Steve’s memory in the way he found most impactful.  Any funds collected here will be distributed directly to Steve’s Tanzanian friends and family for food, housing and medical supplies. Steve’s family will also cover all gofundme processing fees on any donations.  Steve touched the lives of so many, and we hope you will join us in helping this wonderful group of people.
