Hi, my name is Samuel and my mom and I are raising funds for our mission trip to Kenya, Africa.

 

We got invited to go on a mission trip to help kids my age learn about Jesus and also about the health message. We’ll be doing programs at different churches each week and we were told to expect an average of about 350 children and youth at each of our locations.

 

We’re fundraising for books to share with them (like “The Ministry of Healing”, “Counsels on Diet and Foods”, and “Steps to Christ”), as well as for simple medical supplies, and arts & crafts materials so we can do hands-on activities with the kids. Printing the books there will be much cheaper than trying to bring them with us from here. Each book will cost about $3.50 US (or around $5 CA) to print. We’re hoping to print at least 1,000 copies of each book so that as many people as possible can receive the books as a forever gift, that they may not otherwise be able to afford. Each $3.50 US will bless another family. They desperately want these books but until our trip these have not even been available.
