Ella es nuestra querida madre, Belkis Mendoza, una mujer de 64 años, quien vive en Venezuela, ama de casa, alegre y familiar, pero sobretodo luchadora y fiel creyente de Dios y con muchas ganas de vivir. Actualmente estamos pasando por circunstancias en nuestras vidas que están más allá de nuestro control, en todos los aspectos, existenciales, emocionales, espirituales y principalmente económicos desafortunadamente. Dirigirme a ustedes en estos momentos, no es fácil, pero si, inminentemente necesario.

Nuestra madre Belkis Mendoza, Fue diagnosticada hace dos meses con una Tumoracion en columna vertebral con fractura de vertebras lumbares (L2) que le imposibilitan caminar debido al intenso dolor y al compromiso de los nervios involucrados, que amerita una cirugía urgente para hacerle remoción del tumor, toma de muestra para biopsia, colocación de injerto oseo y estabilización de la columna vertebral.

Todo comenzó hace menos de 4 meses aproximadamente, cuando al levantar un objeto, se fracturó una de sus vértebras, que inmediatamente le causaron un fuerte y agudo dolor en la parte baja de la columna, la cual la han dejado inmovilizada de sus piernas y en cama durante todo este tiempo, un dolor que es constante y que no ha habido tratamiento que pueda ayudarla a aliviarlo, incluso hasta hacer sus necesidades fisiológicas diarias por si sola han sido un gran problema para ella. Día a día las complicaciones por estar en cama se hacen mayores. A través de varios estudios realizados pudimos descubrir la neoplasia que justo se localiza en esta área. Y por consiguiente los próximos pasos a seguir es esta cirugía urgente que le permita volver a caminar, y su traslado una vez podamos obtener los resultados de esta biopsia saber el grado en el que está su Cáncer, y proseguir con los tratamientos posteriores para su pronta recuperación.

Como hijos, no podemos hacer menos que dar todo lo que tenemos por la curación y pronta recuperación de nuestra querida madre que desde el primer día de nuestras vidas nos entrego todo lo mejor de su ser, sin ningún tipo de reservas. El agradecimiento hacia ella es infinito, y no tendremos años de vida suficientes para demostrarlo por lo que ningún esfuerzo que podamos hacer es o será excesivo para retribuir en un mínimo porcentaje el amor que nos ha dado a lo largo de nuestras vidas.

Belkis se mantiene alerta, luchando con estas situaciones tan desconocidas y tan difíciles para ella. Está al tanto de todos los pormenores y de nuestra situación como hijos y sobre todo de nuestra fragilidad emocional de estar luchando a su lado con la progresiva carga económica sobre nuestros hombros.

 

Todo esto es tan nuevo para nosotros como familia, que hemos trabajado y luchado a lo largo de nuestras vidas para que nunca tuviéramos que pasar por las condiciones de incapacidad extrema desde el punto de vista económico para continuar ofreciéndole a Belkis la oportunidad de que pueda salir de todo esto y continuar con sus ilusiones de vida.

Acudimos a la bondad y generosidad de todos los que nos puedan ayudar, tanto en oración como desde fondos, así como compartiendo esta campaña con familiares y amigos, ya que para nosotros cada aporte por más pequeño que sea, es de gran ayuda.

She is our dear mother, Belkis Mendoza, a 64-year-old woman, who lives in Venezuela, a housewife, cheerful and family-oriented, but above all a fighter and a faithful believer in God who has a great desire to continue living. We are currently going through circumstances in our lives that are beyond our control, in all aspects, existentially, emotionally, spiritually and, unfortunately, economically. And therefore the next steps to follow is this urgent surgery that will allow him to walk again, and his transfer once we can obtain the results of this biopsy, know the degree in which his Cancer is, and continue with the subsequent treatments for his prompt Recovery.

As children, we cannot do less than give everything we have for the healing and speedy recovery of our dear mother, who from the first day of our lives gave us all the best of her being, without limitations. The gratitude towards her is infinite, and we will not have enough years of life to prove it, so no effort we can make is or will be excessive to repay a minimum percentage of the love she has given us throughout our lives.

Belkis stays alert, struggling with these situations that are so unknown and so difficult for her. She is aware of all the details and of our situation as children and above all of our emotional fragility of fighting alongside her with the progressive economic burden on our shoulders.

All of this is so new to us as a family. We have worked and fought our whole lives so that we never had to go through the conditions of extreme financial difficulties. We just want to continue offering Belkis the opportunity to get out of all this and continue with her illusions in life.
