Recovery For Our Friend

On the early morning of September 2, 2015 many lives were changed at the hands of a terrible auto collision, but none as much as that of our friend Channel. Channel and her friends were struck by a hit and run driver on their way home, causing the vehicle to loose control and ultimately explode. By the grace of God all of the passengers were able to make it out of the car in time before the flames bursted, but Channel sustained the worst injuries and had to be air lifted from the scene to Jacksons Ryder Trauma Center. The list of injuries consists of organ & vertabrae damage, and many broken bones from the waist down. Since the accident Channel has had 4 surgeries and will be hospitalized for the next months to come. Her recovery is predicted to be very extensive & costly as Channel will require a long period of physical therapy and medical equipment to assist her daily through this process. If you personally know Channel you know what a wonderful loving person she is, she exudes positivity and love, she has that spark in her personality to light up any room she walks into. In bad times, Channel is that girl that you go to for comfort, who has the power to make you see the good things out of what you would find to be negative. For some of us shes like our very own angel, so beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside. In her own words, "I ask God everyday, if there is one thing you can do for me please help me be a good person." So on behalf of Channel and her Family, we as her friends come to you to ask for help. Whether you are her friend, co-worker, or dont know her personally we ask that you all join us in our forces to come together and unite for this cause. We don't quite know what this will all cost, but like many of us here she has no health insurance therefore all of Channels medical expenses must be paid out of pocket. We don't really have a set goal, but if everyone reading this would make the grand gesture to donate something small it would help the family towards all the financial obligations that grow each day. No donation is too little, and all would be greatly appreciated by everyone affected. Please share our link in efforts to get Channel back on her feet and completely recovered. En la madrugada del 2 de Septiembre del 2015, muchas vidas cambiaron a causa de un terrible accidente de carros, pero ninguno afectando a tantos como el de nuestra amiga Channel Pineda. Camino a casa, el carro en el que Channel y sus amigas estaban  fue estrellado por un conductor causando que el vehículo perdiera el control y en última instancia que explotara. Gracias a Dios todas las pasajeras lograron salir del carro a tiempo, antes de que la llamas las alcanzaran, pero desafortunadamente Channel sufrió las peores heridas y tuvo que ser transladada desde el lugar del accidente en helicoptero hasta Jacksons Ryder Trauma Center. Las graves lesiones incluyen danos de órganos y vertebras, y muchos huesos rotos de la cintura para abajo. Desde el momento en el que se produjo el accidente Channel ha tenido 4 cirugías, y estará hospitalizada durante los próximos meses. Se prevee que su recuperación  será muy extensa y costosa puesto que Channel requerirá un largo período de terapia física y de la atención de los equipos médicos para ayudarla en su proceso de recuperación. Si tu conoces a Channel personalmente, sabes que ella es una persona maravillosa, es amorosa, irradia positividad y
tiene una chispa en su personalidad que ilumina cada lugar por el que ella camina. En tiempos difíciles,  Channel es esa chica con la que se puede contar en las buenas y en las malas. Ella  tiene el poder de hacerte ver las cosas positivas que se pueden encontrar en lo negativo, por su sinceridad no encontraras mejor consejera. Para muchos de nosotros ella es nuestro ángel, hermosa no sólo en el exterior sino en el interior tambien. En sus propias palabras, "pido a Dios cada día, si hay algo que el pueda hacer por mí, que me ayude a ser una buena persona." Así que, en nombre de Channel, su familia y sus amigos, venimos a pedir de tu ayuda! Seas un amigo, compañero,  conocido, o así no la conozcas personalmente, te rogamos que unas tus fuerzas a esta causa, y nos ayudes con oración y cualquier ayuda económica. No sabemos exactamente el costo total del tratamiento, y como al igual que muchos de nosotros aquí, Channel no tiene seguro de salud y por lo tanto todos los gastos médicos corren a su cuenta. Aparte del terrible dolor que el accidente le ha causado a Channel y a su familia, los gastos médicos que estan fuera de su alcance, les dan muchas mas preocupaciones. Si tuvieras la bondad y  el gran gesto de donar cualquier cantidad, por pequeña que sea, ayudarías a Channel y a su familia inménsamente. Ninguna donación es demasiado pequena!
