I partnered with a very talented chef who' s had restaurants in Turkey, and put my experience in new business development to work. We created a concept with a vision to replicate; a chic/cozy 50 sitter, with an open kitchen serving fresh & flavorful Turkish/Mediterranean food. We have a great menu that caters to all, including vegetarian. and at a moderate price range. We made a loyal customer base over 6 months of hard work. There are not many other choices in this area for healthy food, vegetarian food, notwithstanding @ very moderate price range. We also do delivery, catering & special events. We host live music on occasion. We have 5 employees. The restaurant is paying for itself, and steadily growing. 85% of our customers are repeat, and feel at home here. But, ...We were forced to buy out our partner 5 months ago @ $70,000 by May 25..We are short $20,000, and unable to get it from any source.. He is not willing to negotiate partial payments for the remaining $20K. We worked 7/7 for six months and saved every dime in the hope to pay him off. If we are short, we will have to transfer the lease to him and close the restaurant. The saddest part he does not know the business, will not be able to operate, but hoping to sell & make quick money, if he can sell a shut down business, thus all our hard work will have been in vain..
