Hey everyone, sadly my father Garry Carlson passed away on 11/06/2024 in Santa Rosa, CA. He had a heart attack on 11/04/2024 and had three stints put in. He was discharged 11/6/2024. I went to go and get his medication/food. By the time I got back to my father’s house he was not answering. Paramedics did everything they could, he passed away a few hours after being discharged from memorial hospital in his own bed.

My father was very loved by the racing community at Sonoma Raceway and by communities, everywhere he went. If you were a racing fan you probably heard my father’s voice a lot over the years over the intercom or even saw him working NHRA events.

He really wanted everyone to remember him with happiness and humor, in one last big get together, if anyone can help make that happen I would be very grateful!
