Assalamu alaikum,
Currently, there is no dedicated wudu area at the Uyghur Islamic Center. Worshippers must use the shared building bathrooms, which are inconvenient and not designed for wudu.
We are building a dedicated wudu area for both men and women to better serve our community.
This project will:
- Improve cleanliness and safety
- Reduce congestion in shared bathrooms
- Provide a proper, respectful space for wudu
Important:
- This new space will be for wudu only — not a restroom.
- The existing building bathrooms will still be used as restrooms.
