Hi, we are called VAW Chapter at UIC. The purpose of this organization is to provide pre-health pursuing members the opportunity to work alongside healthcare professionals across low and middle-income countries and to support healthcare systems with disparities around the world.

A medical mission trip will cost around $1,700-1,800 per person. We plan on taking at least 15 students on the mission trip. Donating to us would cut down the cost per intern traveling as we would evenly split amongst ourselves. To break down the expenses per intern, we are required to pay $1040 for the program fee, which will include our housing, meals, and transportation within the country, $100 for medications, and the rest for the plane tickets.
