Basil and Michelle Abouarrage

Basil and Michelle Abouarrage are my dear parents.  My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer in November 2014 and has been through radiation and chemotherapy but the tumors continue to grow and she was put on hospice this week after being in the hospital with breathing issues due to the tumors growing so large.  She has now officially stopped treatment.  Dad has been her caregiver the entire time until Easter of this year last month.  Dad had been experiencing lots of back and stomach pain to the point he had to get to the doctor.  We took him to the ER on easter and sad to say his treatment for 5 days was misdiagnosed.  He was released from the hospital and a week later on 4/7/16 I took him to Mercy ER for same symptoms and within 2 hours he had a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  My dad was working full time and is great at what he does as an electrical engineer.  Sadly he has to stop work to perform very aggressive chemotherapy to extend his life to a hopeful 11 months.  As many of you know how expensive cancer treatment is they are looking at both of them now with no work.  Our heathcare definitely is expensive these days and the meds and copays alone seem to wipe out savings of anyone that is going through this horrible ordeal.  I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW MY PARENTS ARE AGAINST THIS AND NOT ONES TO ASK FOR HELP AND EITHER ARE MY BROTHER AND I.  But I am  posting this for ONLY ones that feel led and have already asked how they could help.   We all appreciate all the prayers, meals and time sitting with my parents and taking them to their appointments.  That is truly what matters here and we could never repay or thank you enough.  Words cannot express how blessed we are and what good friends that are like family to us have truly stepped up to the plate at a time like this that was so unexpected.  God bless each and every one of you.  Again we and they expect nothing, this is just set up as suggessted by some of their friends that wanted to help and to the ones ONLY LEAD BY GOD and the HOLY SPIRIT!!!!!!  We are believers and believe God will provide no matter what.
