Coach Kent Wasson, 38 years old, who has been a beloved coach and teacher for many years suffered a massive stroke on May 14th, 2018. He has coached for many years and has been an inspiration to many students as well as athletes at Mountain Pine, England and Cutter Morning Star.
The stroke that he suffered was in the cerebellum region of his brain which has greatly effected his coordination and motor movements. He has recently been moved from the critical care unit at CHI to UAMS to be under the care of neurology specialists.
Due to a recent change of jobs, Kent currently has no insurance and will be out of work for an unknown amount of time. He is a father of two children and 1 stepdaughter who he adores and helps support. Kent’s current situation adds tremendous financial stress. It is our hope to alleviate some of this stress so he can focus on healing and not worry about bills and financial obligations. We would appreciate any help that you could offer as every dollar makes a difference right now.
