Help Uh-Oh Robotics compete in Battlebots!

We are Uh-Oh robotics, an up-and-coming robotics team participating in the 2020 season of Battlebots, and we need your help to complete our robot.
Our team is comprised of 11 students, highschool and college, with over 55 years of competition robotics experience between us, and over 175 awards earned in various robotics competitions, including 2 VEX World Championship titles. Our main base of operations is in Northridge, but we are from all across the United States with members in CA, MD, FL, TN, GA, and NJ.
Battlebots is a TV show in which approximately 65 different teams battle with their robots, weighing up to 250 pounds, to try to win the “Giant Nut” trophy and $25000. Battlebots is among the top shows on the Discovery Channel, with each episode usually pulling at least 3.5 million viewers.
Our robot, Axolotl, named after the adorable pink sea creature (1 , 2 ), is going to be one of the widest robots at the event, spanning almost 4 feet wide. Using its deadly 40 pound vertical spinner that spins up to 160 miles per hour (enough to take off your arm), it’ll destroy anything that dares get in it’s way!
With sponsors being shy given the Coronavirus situation and our short timeframe, we need your help to be able to get our robot finished and ready to destroy the competition. We also need backup parts to be able to repair the robot between the fights, since the competition is always fierce and unforgiving at these events.
To show your appreciation for your support, we will send you a large sticker (4”x2”) of our logo for donations over $30 and one of our team shirts (along with a sticker) for donations over $250 (We will contact you to get your address and shirt size). For donations greater than $500, we can consider you as an official team sponsor and have your logo on our robot, our sponsor splash screen and our team pit banner. We can negotiate on benefits for larger donations.
