Hi everybody! My name is Mahmoud Abunada, 35 years old. I live in Gaza, and this is day 164 of war. You can consider it as 164 long and tough years!

I'm a freelancer specializing in translation & content writing with a bachelor of business administration/ English section. Married and have two boys. I have long a passionate person who love to improve himself constantly. I used to live in good and convenient home. Now, I live in a plastic tent after getting displaced from North Gaza to South. Also, we moved so many times from one place to another seeking safety, but in vain. Still, there is no safe place in Gaza.

Currently, as all of you may know, we live in a miserable situation in a real warzone here in Gaza. Tough situation of living, no electricity, no clean water. We suffer coldness and heat in this plastic tent.

Basics of life are missing, even the most simple things. If I need to wash my face, this is a big deal now!

My little children, my little two boys are suffering a lot from this horrible situation. Imagine a little child under extraordinary stress, facing great fear and getting close to danger every single moment. I cannot count the times they got sick last 5 months due to weak immunity and food shortage.

Moreover, I cannot count times that we were very close to the danger, me and my family. Imagine waking up suddenly to a big explosion sound and don't know what to do or where to run!

Every moment we expect danger. Many times, bricks and ashes arrived over our heads. The smell of explosions and ash of fire makes us sick with chest troubles.

Not to mention the massive psychological impact and troubles. We're having nightmares while awake up!

I need to refresh my children's psyche away form this divastating situation.

I hope they could have "the regular life" for all children all over the world.

Another important thing is that there is no enogh or healthy food here, our bodies get weak due to bad nutrition. I don't know what to answer my kids when they ask for an apple or a candy!!

This is not the first time to be living under war here in Gaza. This is the fifth one, but the most horrible one. Every moment fear increased. Every single moment means possible bombing or explosion.

Many times getting displaced. Every time I had nothing to survive. We evacuated our home with nothing. Just the clothes we were wearing!

I didn't travel outside the Gaza Strip before. Imagine a 35-year-old person who never has any chance to travel. Now, travel has become a matter of life and death, for me and for my family.

An extraordinary misery, fear, hunger, insecurity, damage, loss and inability.

But, still, there is an extraordinary HOPE, as you give your generous donation. So, I can move outside Gaza with my family.

We hope to have a new start for our broken dreams and damaged life outside the warzone. This is a call for humanity in all of you to help and assist us in getting out of all this madness.

I want to have a new shift with a new job outside benefit myself, my family, and the whole community.

There is one way to evacuate, which passing the Rafah crossing point. This procedure costs about 6 to 5 thousand dollars per person.
