My name is Lucy Vega. My kids' father of 7 had been fighting cancer from a tumor on the side of his neck (lymphoma to be exact) for about a year since March of 2025. He started chemo early after finding out. A few months later, treatment started to help, but a few months after that, he got an infection. These past few weeks, he has not been walking or talking. On 4/27/26, he went to the hospital for shortness of breath, which the doctors couldn’t do much about because he was already terminal. On 4/28/26, he took his last breath at home after a few hours of being released from the hospital with his kids, mom, and myself. We are asking for donations to cover expenses that insurance will not cover.
