Band trip to New York

I’m starting this Gofundme in hopes of helping Aubree to raise money for the Southside High School band trip to New York this coming year. They have the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York. The trip itself through the school will cost 2k and then an extra $500 is needed to send with her to go towards meals while there. Along with the Carnegie Hall performance, they will have the opportunity to see some amazing landmarks and tour the city!

Anyone who personally knows Aubree will understand the importance of this trip to her. She is extremely dedicated to band and if you visit our house you’re likely to hear the constant flute sounds coming from her bedroom. Aubree made first chair in the Southside High Symphonic band for the 2023-24 school year. She is also a recipient of the Lafayette Parish Talented arts program, which is a position she had to try out for. She receives a private tutor through this program once a week to assist her in progressing musically and help her to achieve all of her personal goals. Aubree continues to blow me away with her talent, hard work, and dedication. She is more than deserving to get to attend this trip and I have high hopes to help her raise the funds that she’s in need of!
