Hello everyone my name is Janett Hay, I am Marlon Hay's mother. On Sunday, August 27, 2023, my son was brutally beaten with a baseball bat while trying to protect and save a 1-year-old Doberman mix in the Bronx. While on his way to work, he witnessed the dog being strangled. Marlon being the animal lover that he is, quickly pulled over and tried to prevent the individual from murdering the dog. While trying to be a good samaritan Marlon unfortunately became the target. As a result, he was knocked unconscious and was viciously beaten and struck multiple times in his face, head, upper body and groin with a bat. Marlon is currently at Lincoln Medical Center in ICU on a ventilator suffering from a brain hemorrhage, 7 missing teeth, a broken jaw, a broken nose and trauma to his upper body and head.
