Hi, my name is Renee. Just a month and a half after marrying the love of my life, Darin, our world was turned upside down. I was diagnosed with metastatic triple negative inflammatory breast cancer — an aggressive, rare, and advanced form of breast cancer.
We should be celebrating our first months as newlyweds, but instead, we’re navigating endless doctor visits, painful treatments, and the emotional weight of this fight. The medical bills are already piling up, and I’ve had to miss work due to pain, overwhelming stress, and frequent appointments.
This cancer is not curable — but it is treatable. With the right care, I can live for many more years. Without treatment, I will most likely die. That’s the brutal truth. But I am not ready to die. I want to live. I want to wake up beside my husband and plan adventures, not treatments. I want to see my daughter’s future children grow up. I want to cheer my stepson on as he graduates high school. I want to climb every mountain life puts in front of me — and come out stronger on the other side.
I will be undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments that will keep me home and unable to work for an extended period. We are doing everything we can to stay afloat, but the financial strain is becoming too much for us to bear alone.
Your support — whether through a donation, sharing this page, or sending words of encouragement — means more than I can ever express. Every contribution helps us fight for time, for love, and for life itself.
Your generosity will go directly toward:
Chemotherapy and related medical expenses
Covering lost income while I’m unable to work
Essential living costs during treatment
With your help, we can focus on healing and staying alive — without the constant fear of what could happen if we can’t afford the insane cost of these cancer treatments. You’re not just helping us pay bills — you’re giving us a chance to hold onto hope, to stay together, and to keep believing in a future beyond cancer.
