Help My Soul Dog Prince Walk Again

Hi everyone,

My name is Ariel, and I’m fundraising for my sweet 4-year-old Shih Tzu-Yorkie, Prince. Prince is more than a pet—he’s my soul dog. We’ve been through everything together. He’s playful, loving, and full of personality... but lately, he’s been in pain.

After several back flare-ups, the vet suspects he has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease)—a painful and potentially paralyzing spinal condition. The only way to truly relieve his pain and give him a chance at a normal life is through spinal surgery.

The Reality:

Prince needs surgery as soon as possible to prevent permanent damage. The procedure costs up to $15,000, including imaging, hospital stay, medications, and aftercare. Unfortunately, insurance won’t cover it because it’s considered a pre-existing or hereditary condition.

Why This Means So Much:

Prince isn’t just my pet—he’s my soulmate in dog form, and he has so much life left ahead of him. He still has so many walks to go on, treats to devour, and zoomies to run. And I still have so many cuddles to give him—the kind that make both of us feel safe and at home.

I want to give him the chance to live that full, happy life—without pain.
