Final Expenses for Chris Lea
I am the mother of the late Chris Lea.
He was a model :son, brother, athlete, cub, scout and air cadet'
When he was 14 his dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This was terminal and Chris and I nursed his dad at home. His dad wanted to stay at home with his family and garden and dogs.
Nothing was too much trouble, too ugly, or gross for him to do for his dad.
When his dad died, Chris could not deal with the loss and the memory of his dad's pain.
He started in the long downward spiral of drugs. he went to rehabilitation, but the public funded ones for 28 days were not enough. I spent all my savings, mostly helping Chris in emergencies and rehabilitation centres.
On 24 September 2016, the RCMP came and informd us that Chris had passed away of an overdose of Fentanyl.
Human Resourses helped with the removal and creation, but we wanted a viewing to say goodbye and then we wanted a ceremony of life in Chemainus BC where he grew up.
I am asking you please to help me with these expenses. Any amount will be appreciated and a personal thank you will be sent to all who leave an address or email.
I am not only dealing with this overpowering grief, but the presure of the debts.
Any amount will be appreciated. Blessings.
