Ron Barkley, better known as RB made his start at Stephensons Apple Farm in Independence, Mo. and then worked for Kansas City staples Gilbert Robinson, PB&J and Hereford House. RB hired, trained and mentored countless restaurant employees in the Kansas City area, many of which are still contributing to the KC industry today.

Heavily involved in the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association, acted as president in 1996 RB was always an advocate for all restaurants in the KC area.

The Ron Barkley Scholarship Fund will continue this legacy of "Building the Bench" for our KC Restaurant Industry.
