My daughter Amber is going to have to have surgery on her brain in the next week.
We just found out that childrens hospital is not in my "medical network". So I am opening up my heart and prayers to everyone we know to help us raise the money we need to get the surgery done so she can have the best care possible for her at the best hospital for children. We are praying that my insurance will help and approve the hospital. The doctor who is doing her surgery is one of the top doctors in the specialty of her condition. I have a son who had this happen to him when he was 18 months old and when he was 3 years old. The doctor was amazing then for his compassion and understanding of the condition my kids have. It's called Cavernous Malformation (in non-medical term, bleeding or lesions on the brain in the folds and other places in the brain). My sister has this as well and so does her son, which he had his first surgery when he was 2 years old and had to have three surgeries at his stay. So as you can see the doctor has expertise in this area.
Amber is a bright and fun loving girl who loves softball, fishing, camping, horses, anything outdoors or just being with the family.
Please help us raise the money so we are not drowning in medical bills and get her with the BEST DOCTOR in Colorado.
