Help Raul Diaz beat brain cancer

Hello -
My name is Alexia Carson-Okwabi and I'm fundraising for my newly wedded husband's medical bills.
On 2/27/2024, Raul was rushed to the ER at IHC in Murray. That's when the doctor expedited another CT and let us know that an MRI also needed to be conducted so nothing was missed. I will never forget the look on the doctors face when he brought in the scan results. There was a mass found in his brain and we didn't know how large or how much it would affect him. We were then told that looking closer at the previous scans, they detected and noted about a tumor found in September as well (that we were NEVER notified of).
Raul has undergone 2 brain surgeries and was in the ICU for a combined total of 8 days. When the first surgery was done, our neurosurgeon came to speak to me and showed me that the tumor found was about the size of a navel orange. They were able to disect part of the tumor but there is a large part of the side of Raul's brain where it would be completely unsafe to remove. So unsafe that it would cause life long defects that they are unsure Raul would want to endure.
We have received the pathology back and were let know that he has grade (stage) 4 glioblastoma (brain cancer) and without treatment would have 3-6 months to live and with treatment, a possible 1-2 years to live.
Undergoing all of this, Raul is obviously unable to work and the medical bills are racking up like crazy. We are struggling to find a way to pay rent, buy groceries, and pay medical bills on top of other bills we already have. Times are extremely tough right now with funds and that's why we are letting our guards down and asking for help. We are needing to pay his hospital/ICU bill as they rapidly accrued with his two visits spending several days in the ICU. We are already in a large amount of debt from all of this and that doesn't include the radiation (5 days a week) and chemotherapy (7 days a week) that he has now been assigned. We were told that he will most likely not be able to return to work; meaning no income will be brought in on his side and unfortunately I cannot cover all bills, rent, utilities, groceries, etc. by myself so we are in desperate need of your help.
If you know Raul, you know he is the most caring, giving, and humorous person around. He always wants to make people laugh and brighten their days. He is very down to earth and mellow and loves to be loved.
One of the biggest things he wanted in life was to become a father and we are unsure that he will make it to be able to see our child(ren) grow up. This cancer is so aggressive that we do not know what will happen next but all we can do is pray, be positive and patient, and hope for the best. Please do the same for us
