Danica is a beautiful, 10 year old girl who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) on 1/14/22. Since then she has been going through chemo treatments, eventually forcing her to undergo surgery which removed her femur and knee, that were replaced with internal prosthesis.

Danica fight isn't over yet, as she still has many more weeks of chemo, which she is hopeful to finish on or around August 26th. Her mother, Mary Ann is her sole provider and with treatments and surgery, has been unable to work. Due to the extreme nature of Danicas case, having to provide around the clock care, it is still unsure when she will be able to return to work.

Danica undergoes her chemo treatments at the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor. Which has been quite a strain to commute back and forth, so they have been residing with her grandparents George and Vicky Tindell in Taylor, MI.

Mary Ann & Danica are longtime residents of downriver, from South Range. We would love to see the wonderful members of our community come out to support this amazing girl and her family.
