Funeral and Memorial Services for Mia Lynch

This picture was taken this past Mother’s Day by my niece, one of our Mother’s 10 grandchildren (plus one on the way).

We were all having fun playing with filters like we usually do and snapped this photo of her.

She looks so happy here

Unfortunately, she passed a week later in the hospital due to complications surrounding her illness. Mom suffered for a long time with asthma and COPD and had been hospitalized a few years ago when doctors also found major issues with her heart. Mom had been through big hospital scares before but she was a fighter and always pushed through and came back home..

My mother also lost her son last October, a few days before her 58th birthday. This loss devastated the family, but I think the pain my mother felt was indescribable. She missed him terribly.

My mom was vibrant, creative, and super funny. Most of all, she loved family. She loved being a mother and she loved being Grandma. She also had many friends and extended family… this is a great loss for us all

We’re asking for assistance from friends, family, and all loved ones if they can, to make donations to help with funeral and burial costs.

My mother has already selected a spot next to our brother for her final resting place and we’d like to honor her final wish…

Funeral services are $6,000

Burial Services (including the plot) are $12,000

Any additional money will be used to pay for fees associated with using this service, additional memorial services, and any other unforeseen expenses that may occur during this time.
