Hi, I along with many other cousins would like to introduce you to our cousin Craig Henning, his wife Stephanie and their two teenagers, Tristen is a senior in high school and very active in 4-H showing cattle while Hannah is a freshman and our future Olympic Gold medalist in swimming. In October Craig was involved in an accident that miraclously  revealed a tumor on his liver. Thru many follow up test, scans and a biopsy he was given the diagnosis of Melanoma and was scheduled for surgery. At that time it was found he had 4 tumors and needed more specialized care. A referral  was made to an Oncologist that specializes in Melanoma at Indiana University Cancer center and Craig is now under their care.  He recently met with the Dr. there, will undergo more scans to find the extent of the cancer, and begin a multi drug chemo treatment that offers a 60-70% success rate. Thru all this Craig and Steph remain positive and upbeat and Craig has said many times he is taking it one day at a time, one test at a time and intends to kick cancer's butt! Steph has had to miss much work already, they are already getting medical bills their insurance isn't covering, and there will be many trips back and forth to IU for treatments, follow up appointments.  They could use our help! Not only do they have these expenses to cover now, but they will still have the normal household expenses to cover with Craig unable to work, and Steph will be missing work to go with him. Craig's disability from work does not kick in for 91 days. I know that we all have expenses of our own but if we can each give any amount at all, regardless of size, it will be greatly appreciated and relieve some pressure on these two so they can focus on beating cancer's butt and allow them to also have some family time together.
