The photo in this picture is the night my brother arrived from Haiti.  Our lives since have not been the same.  That was three years ago and I am way more buff and better looking, but that is not why you are reading this.
I am heading back to Haiti where is all began.  My brother Gefte is still not able to go back to his home country for legal purposes, but I would like to go back and help at the school he came from.  They have out grown their space and our building in a new location.  
This is a very hard decision for our family to have me go back knowing the Gefte will be upset.  However, I plan on spending time with his brother who is the same age as me.  My family has been getting english lessons for him for the past two years and he will be a translator on my trip.  
It will be the summer before my senior year and I would like to take this time to focus on what is important and what the next four years will bring.
I am nervous and excited about going back and I wish it could be with my whole family, but we are still waiting on immigration details with Gefte.
I really appreciate your support and the opportunity to go back to a country that means so much to us.
