We were just forced out of our home due to my ex taking our rent money before moving across the country. I’m my son’s caregiver 24/7 right now so our income is fixed, which made it impossible to recover financially. I did manage to save up a couple thousand but it simply wasn’t enough. I need to be able to go back to work to support us, and that means we need to be somewhere with better funding and services for Briar. He cannot go into typical daycare due to his disabilities so we have to be somewhere with better opportunities. We were referred to Las Vegas for several reasons, one of them being that I can pursue a much better career. Another is that their availability for disability services is way better than our area. We are currently staying in hotels and out of my car while we try to make this happen. This is SO dangerous for Briar with his elopement problem. He’s in respite until March 23rd, but after that he’ll be with us in this situation. He was able to escape my home and nearly drown with child locks, gates AND cameras in place. I’m terrified of what could happen in an unsecured environment. We need to get this figured out ASAP, and that means we need help
