Helping A Single Mother

Hey everyone,

I'm creating this fundraiser for someone close to me who's in an emergency situation. Their electricity has already been shut off due to a past-due BGE bill, and they're doing everything they can to get it turned back on.

They've applied for energy assistance and other resources, but the process takes time — and unfortunately, time isn't on their side right now. With the heat, no power, and no air, it's been really hard just to get through each day.

I'm hoping to raise enough to cover the past-due amount so service can be restored as soon as possible. Every dollar goes straight toward the bill — nothing else.
