Hi everyone, my name is Triahna. I’ve decided to come here to raise money for a traumatic moment any of our family and friends were prepared for. On the day of September 23rd, while my fiancé, Devin was on his way to work his when his truck flipped over on a bridge. Ambulance transported him to two hospitals before reaching the exact hospital he would then undergo two separate surgeries. Neck and spinal injuries. Devin was sent to surgery immediately. Almost 9 hours later, he was then sent to Medical ICU (longest 9 hours of our lives). After surgery, we were told he wouldn’t have any feeling in his lower extremities. He sustained neck and spinal injuries, C-7 area of his spine. Remained there for about a week. He then was transferred to medical Trauma ICU for a week. Finally, he was transferred to a room where he didn’t have to be supervised often because he’s progressed so well after being removed from ICU. Still not being able to move his legs, he was transferred to inpatient rehab October 28th, after being in the hospital for over a month. While we anticipate on his results of physical therapy, because we have faith in God that he WILL walk again. We’re also trying to figure out how medical expenses will be met once he leaves WITH insurance. Equipment will be worth thousands. He’s had so much support from friends and family, we are so appreciative of that! He’s had such a positive spirit this whole entire time. I admire him for that. So with that being said, we ask that if able and willing, would you help us reach this goal $25,000 goal for Devin’s medical expenses? It would mean so much to him and the rest of our families.
