Hi, my name is Sheri. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on July 24, 2023. Since then I have had to take a lot of time off of work for testing. I am a behavioral counselor for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As such, I am an independent contractor and I don't get paid if I don't see clients. I will need to take off almost a full week for surgery and more time for chemotherapy and radiation when they start. I need help to pay my bills during this challenging time.
