Uganda+Together mission in July

In July, a team of 15 youth and adults from St. John's Episcopal Church and School will travel to Uganda for a mission trip.

For years, St. John’s has partnered with the work of Dr. Scott and Carol Kellermann, medical missionaries whose holistic approach to ministry has greatly improved the lives of the Batwa Pygmies  in Uganda.



Our July team will make the Bwindi Community Hospital, which the Kellermanns established, their home base. Our work will include serving at a local school, building a house for a Batwa family, constructing a community center and worship pavilion, and praying and worshiping with our Ugandan brothers and sisters.

This Gofundme campaign is to help us finalize the materials and traveling costs our group needs to make the trip from July 10-25. The cost of the community center is $10,000, the accompanying latrine and kitchen an additional $3,000, and we have around $3,000 in food and lodging expenses while in Uganda.
