Jerri's Uganda Trip January 2018

In the summer of 2015, I went on my first ever mission trip - to Northern Uganda! While there, I met some incredible friends whom I cannot wait to see again. While I am a little sad I am not going on the summer of 2017 trip... I will be going on the winter of 2018 trip, which is only about 7 months away!!!
Nick and Stacy Adams of Kennewick, WA, along with Ugandan Pastor Jb Too-lit, founded New Heritage Ministry to bring hope and help to the people of wartorn Northern Uganda. The Adams will be moving to Uganda in the winter of 2018. They are building what will be known as "The Mission House", which will be where future missionaries through New Heritage Ministry will get to stay. So exciting!
New Heritage Ministry and its missionaries and volunteers work together with Pastor Jb, his family, and other Northern Ugandan pastors on a variety of projects and outreaches. Since my trip 2 years ago, I have continued to enjoy the privilege of being involved in this ministry, mostly by helping with social media when I remember to! Scott and I also help with sponsoring when we can, through both NHM's Sponsor a Child and Christmas Project. It was so great to witness first hand how every effort made on behalf of these people makes such a difference in their lives and in their villages.
