Uganda Relief Project
Donation protected
We are a group of five high school students inspired by our mentors to help others in every way possible. While maintaining our individual studies at our high schools, we actively volunteer at several events hosted by the Turkish Cultural Center of Rochester. Our involvement in community service has taught us the importance of love and care. Consequently, we have chosen to extend our empathy and compassion to the people of Uganda. We selected Uganda as our next volunteering destination because it is one of the major third-world countries facing significant challenges. Some of these challenges include limited access to clean water, healthcare, and support for numerous orphans who lack the love and care they deserve. With the support of Youth Island NY and Embrace Relief, we are determined to pursue our dreams. Our goals include opening a water well, providing free health check-ups, and visiting orphanages to bring joy to the children of Uganda.
Your support means more than just a donation. With your generosity, we can make a tangible difference in Uganda, fostering hope and opportunity where it is needed most. Together, let us build a better world where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
