In July 2026 myself and a team of young people from St George's Church Stamford will be travelling to the small village of Rukungiri, Uganda. We will be volunteering through things like working in the gardens, schools, hospitals (including Kisiizi, one of St George's mission partners), charity hubs, and in other community projects. All the while we will be doing our best to shine Jesus' light and spread the gospel as best we can as we learn the country's history and embrace its culture. We will also hear from long-term missionaries who will tell us about their experience of life in the country, beyond the week we will see. This page is one way we are hoping to fundraise, to help cover travel, food and accommodation costs as we seek to build God's kingdom and do our small part to help those who need it most. Anything you can spare is so very greatly appreciated!!
