Calling all the Dawgs! The UGA men's lacrosse team has been invited to participate in this year's Faceoff for a Cause hosted by Berry College on October 21. This annual tournament brings teams across the Southeast together for something bigger than themselves, and provides an opportunity to watch some great lacrosse in the Fall!
The Faceoff for a Cause event is organized every year in partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), a non-profit that provides free programs and services to address the needs of wounded warriors and fill gaps in government care. Since its inception WWP has helped thousands of our brave veterans adjust to a new stage of life after returning from the battlefield, and is a charity we are honored to support.
All of the teams that participate in Faceoff for a Cause are encouraged to raise as much money as possible for WWP and raise awareness about the issues that affect the daily lives of many veterans. Donations from each team will be added to the Faceoff for a Cause group fund which will then be given to the Wounded Warrior Project. Note: Admission on October 21 is FREE but donations are welcomed for the fundraiser
