I’m trying to raise money for a specialist bed my beautiful 8 year old daughter. This bed would be a specialist travel bed that would allow for rest bite care for Maissie. Currently, she can only stay at home with me and her 4 year old sister, which means we are both caring for her 24/7.

The specialist travel bed would mean that Maissie is able to safely stay with relatives, go on family holidays and would provide much needed rest bite for my other daughter Layla.

Maissie goes to a special school, she is none verbal with server autism and ADHD. She has no awareness of danger and therefore needs 1.1 suport at all times. She’s on high mobility and has very complex needs.

Through support from school and friends, I have contacted local charities for support with the funding for the specialist travel bed, however with the current financial climate, there is no funding.

I have been in contact with the company that manufactures these specialist beds and the quote is £3658!

To raise this money, myself and Maissie’s sister Layla, are going to.....
