Support Andrew Watters' Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

We are starting this GoFundMe account to support our youngest brother, Andrew Watters, during his battle with terminal Stage 4 cancer. Originally diagnosed in 2018 with a signet ring tumor on his appendix, the extremely aggressive nature of this cancer led to emergency surgery, and the loss of both his appendix and a portion of his colon. Doctors thought they got it all, but they did not...

It has stayed undetected and dormant, during which Andy enjoyed 4 wonderful years of treatment free living. Unfortunately, recent stomach issues led to exploratory surgery in December of 2024. His cancer never left, and it has now spread to the lining around the stomach and into his intestinal tract, where several large tumors have caused blockages. It is not curable, but doctors hope to manage it through chemo and the possibility of promising trials.

He has been in and out of the hospital several times in last 3 months due to debilitating intestinal blockages and is currently on a strictly liquid diet.

Our goal is to get Andy to Tampa, FL, where he has a larger support network and access to more extensive medical care—specifically, cancer centers and clinical trials, as well as warmer weather. He is currently living in a 3rd floor walk up in Wisconsin with his beloved dog, Jenny, who is always with him exploring the outdoors, playing with friends at a park, or on a different adventure.

With the subzero temperatures in WI, and the increased physical weakness from weight loss, blockages, and chemo, these are struggles we are hoping to eliminate with the move.
