Tammys Journey

Hi, my name is Kayla Gary, and i am the daughter of Tammy Gary. I created a go fund me for my mom in her most crucial time of need. Wednesday morning at 6:00 am my mom got up to get ready for work like any other day. She was in the bathroom doing her normal routine when she was talking to her husband ( my dad ). He said he was off to work and she replied “okay”. My father said then I’m an instant she had a blank look on her face, that followed with her seizing. He made it over to her before she could fall, and laid her down gently and called 911 and then for me. I ran downstairs to find my mom on the floor unresponsive and barely breathing. She was gasping for air. She couldn’t talk or see or tell us anything. It was the scariest moment of my life. Shortly a police, Ems, and firefighters showed up and continued cpr. They also got a breathing bag set up for her. She was stable on the ride to the hospital, but wasn’t doing well. When she arrived she was put in a ventilator with a tube down her throat and sedated while doctors ran all kinds of test to see what happened. It is now Saturday and we are still in icu with no answers as to what caused this. My mother finally woke on Thursday and doesn’t remember anything. She’s in a ton of pain, and is fighting as best as she can. We have all been doing what we can to help get my mom back to her normal self, but it going to be a scary journey ahead. We ask for any kind of help you can or even just to share to help us in this hard time. I want to thank all the text, calls, and prayers . If it wasn’t for that I don’t know how we would have stayed strong. Also please give your parents a kiss and tell them you love them. It’s the scariest feeling to not know if you can do it again.
