UPDATE 11/9/23:

I regret to update that my mother, Zoraida Rosa has passed on to be with the Lord. We are heartbroken by this loss. She will be sorely missed.

My mother, Zoraida Rosa, has dedicated her life to raising her children. She is mom to five--Willie, Edith, Mellie, Freddie, and Amily, and has many grandchildren and nephews. As a former nurse, she always took care of those around her.

On November 1st, she suffered from a masive stroke and had to undergo emergency surgery. Unfortunately, the damage was too extensive and she has not woken up. If she does, she faces and extremely difficult recovery in long term care.

We are all devastated by this unexpected tragedy, especially on the heels of having buried my sister, Edith, lost to colon cancer, just a few months ago, and my uncle, Wilfred, due to a car accident, last spring.

These losses have been a strain on our family financially as well as emotionally. We would truly appreciate any amount you could give towards medical and final expenses for my mother. She has done so much for her family and we'd like to make sure she is comfortable in her final days and gets a proper send off.
