Double lung transplant Tracy Paxton Phalen

We just found out last month that my sister needs a double lung transplant. We went to Duke University last week for testing to see if she could be accepted in their program and thank God she did pass through the testing and they called her yesterday ready to proceed.
She had respiratory arrest a couple of times in 2018 and we thought we lost her , thank God they were able to get the carbon dioxide out of her system and then started her on oxygen. She went to a couple of
lung doctors the last one is the one that found she has critical COPD and severe asthma he is the one that asked her about a lung transplant and referred her to Duke to get that process started if possible. I found out last week during the testing she had a PFT and showed that she was only having 10% from her lungs functioning. The carbon dioxide takes over the oxygen that she's trying to breathe therefore when she's Just getting up moving to just walk a few steps the carbon dioxide makes her oxygen level start dropping. Therefore it limits her to doing basically anything that she wants to do or used to do.
Now Duke is ready for her to relocate which means she has to get an apartment close to them to start therapy and prepping while waiting on lung transplant.
We are asking for help to get through this since they will have to keep up with 2 households during these 3-8 months depending on her outcome . Her hubby, Phil Phalen is the only one working. He will also need to travel back and forth as a caregiver and get me there as her caregiver while he travels back and forth working.
