Dad's Stroke Recovery

Hello everyone!  I am reaching out to you all on behalf of my Dad, Lamar Dixon.  Dad had a stroke on 9 Feb and he has been in the hospital or rehab facility ever since in Jacksonville, FL.  A combination of my Mom, my brother, and sister, and I stay in Jacksonville with him to assist with his recovery.  A friend was allowing us to use her apartment, but it is no longer available so we will have to pay for a hotel for the remainder of his recovery in Florida. Additionally, my parents’ home and vehicle will have to be renovated to accommodate my father’s wheelchair when he is ready to go home.

My parents are not poor, but they are on a fixed income and the expense of the hospitals, hotels, and renovations that will need to be made to the house and car will add up quickly.  This fund was created to help my parents with the financial burden that this will bring. On behalf of the Dixon family, we thank you for all the prayers and phone calls.  If you’d like to help lessen the financial burden on them, any amount, no matter how small, will be appreciated.
