Mrs. Hammond's 5th Grade classes from Buffalo, WY is trying to raise funds to make their classroom design dreams come true. 

This amazing group of 5th graders has worked for months studying the effect of classroom design on student learning.  They have researched design theories, interviewed teachers, met with a designer, written persuasive papers, and presented to a panel of educators, board members, and community members. 

Five student designs were chosen from the fifth grade. These designs were put together in a portfolio and were sent to a designer for an estimate on the price of each the furniture in each design.  After receiving their pricing information and a few suggestions, the students discussed what furniture they thought was feasible. 

After making these decisions, they presented their ideas to the rest of their classmates.  This is what brings us to this point:  we need your help raising the funds to make these 5th grade students' dreams of creating their own 21st century learning classroom come true!

The money raised will be used to purchase as much of the furniture for their designs as possible.  I would love to see their dreams come true before they move on to middle school, but we only have 4 short months before this happens.
