Hi! My name is Eléonore.
I am raising funds for a project I care about: Ufulu Freedom. The project of the Luangwa Foundation manufactures washable and re-usable pads in their workshop in Mfuwe in Zambia.
Imagine missing 25% of your classes because you are a female… That’s exactly what arrives at many young females living in rural areas. They can't afford proper hygienic pads.
This project has a double impact:
- Allows young females to go to school every day of the month.
- Gives access to professional training courses and to jobs for local women.
It makes a difference: class holders testified that the presence of young females has increased by 85% since they have access to hygienic pads.
YOU CAN HELP!
The textiles they are using is expensive and is sometimes bad for the health.
We are going to bring them good textiles in November. Help us raise funds to buy proper textiles.
