Hi, my name is Melissa and I am fundraising on my beautiful mother's behalf. August of 2022 started the surreal nightmare of mom's journey. After feeling some discomfort in her back, she fell and broke her femur. We later learned she had tumors in her spine and leg. The tumors were kidney cancer that had spread. We also recently found out she has breast cancer. Mom had to endure 2 major surgeries and some rehabilitation time in a facility. She is now home, but the next step of the fight begins. She started her treatment a week ago and that will be ongoing. This has been very difficult for her and medical bills on top of monthly bills has caused a financial strain.
