Scotty Watson

Roosevelt County lost a very special man. Please keep the family of Scotty Watson in your prayers as well as his brothers at the Portales Fire Dept. Please also say a prayer his extended fire department/ems families all across the state of New Mexico. His kindness towards others and willingness to help everyone will always be treasured. Years of memories and friendship can’t be put into words.  He was a hard working man that worked to provide for his family no matter the cost. Even when his home burned on two separate occasions he still had a positive outlook and moved/rebuilt to provide for his family. Scotty was more dedicated to his wife, family, friends, coworkers, and anyone in need than any one human could possibly be. He was defiantly a man of God. Scotty was an inspiration. He taught many classes ran many calls that always took time away from his family. Our hearts are broke and we all have many years of precious memories. Although we could never repay him for everything he’s done for us, we can at least try to help during his family’s time of need by donating. No amount is too big or too small. Now it is our time to give back to his family just like he’s done for us for so many years. Rest easy and know that you will be very missed.
