On October 26, 2023, Roger Thurman passed away holding the hand of his daughter Shelby Thurman. Roger's passing came suddenly and unexpectedly, and Shelby had to make the incredibly difficult decision to move him to hospice care to ease his suffering. On top of the grieving process she is now going through, Shelby is also managing her father's end-of-life arrangements.

Thus far Shelby has paid for all arrangements from her own personal savings, which has caused her heavy financial strain. We are reaching out to both Shelby and Roger's community, family members, and friends to assist Shelby in her time of need.
