Hi friends!
Our dear friend Greg has received devastating news—something no working musician wants to face. While doing some heavy lifting, Greg tore the distal bicep tendon in his dominant arm and will need to undergo surgery tomorrow. This injury has left him unable to work for the time being, and as you can imagine, it’s an incredibly challenging time both emotionally and financially.
Greg is not just a talented musician; he’s also a graphic designer, and both of these income streams are now on hold as he focuses on recovery. He has had to cancel all of his upcoming gigs, which is a significant financial blow. On top of that, Greg faces mounting expenses, including his mortgage, bills, and other essentials, all while dealing with his recovery. He needs financial support to help him stay afloat during this difficult time.
I’ve started this GoFundMe to ease the burden for Greg and give him the breathing room he needs to focus on healing. Every single contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference in supporting him through this.
In addition, Kate Houston has organized a meal/love/help/support train to ensure Greg has nourishing meals while he’s on the mend. If you’re able to contribute in other ways, visits to keep him company, helping with cooking or cleaning, taking him for a walk, or even just sharing a movie night will go a long way in lifting his spirits.
Greg has always been there to bring music, creativity, and kindness into our lives. Now, it’s our turn to show him some love and support during this tough time.
Thank you for any help you can offer, whether it’s donating, sharing this with others, or giving your time. Every bit truly helps.
Wishing all of you good health and happiness as we step into 2025! Together, we've got this.
All the best, Leah
